At Brewery Draconum (Latin for Brewery "of dragons") we believe that there is a beer out there for everyone. If variety is the spice of life, what better choice than beer? The most versatile beverage (yes more than wine!) since it was first brewed before our ancestors even settled into crop-yielding and agricultural communities.​
It is that very versatility that makes beer so special and inviting and we find it fuels our passion to create a wide variety of styles from all over the globe to help us in our goal to find a beer for everyone that walks through our doors (age permitting of course!).
So you might be thinking, “Well… what do dragons have to do with beer?” and that would be a great question! If you look throughout history a multitude of diverse cultures have myths and lore regarding dragons. Some good, some evil, some with huge wings and a stout body, some lithe and sleek and crisp, a diverse body of culturally relevant mythos all under one collective theme. So it is with beers around the world, each style echoing a remnant of the culture and history of where it was developed offering a slightly different approach to our favorite fermented libation.
